Please note the following guidelines for pool usage:
COVID-19 Warning
The pool is not guaranteed to be free of the COVID-19 virus so personal responsibility is key. Please understand you are entering the pool at your own risk.  By entering the pool, you take responsibility for your own protection and for disinfecting your hands.
Do not use the pool if you have a cough, fever, or other symptoms of illness, or have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus in the past 14 days.  If you are immunosuppressed, have underlying health conditions, or are considered high-risk, you are strongly encouraged not to use the pool.
Pool Use
  • Pool hours 
    • Mounts Bay Pool - Starting Saturday, September 12, Mounts Bay Pool ONLY will remain open on the weekends (Saturday & Sunday) though September 27.  There will be two sessions on those days from 12 noon - 2 pm and 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
  • In accordance with the Governor's Executive Order, free swim is permitted with social distancing. Spa, spray pads and kiddie pools must be closed.
  • Registration & Liability Waiver
    • Due to the State of Virginia's limitations for public gatherings and the need to control capacity, everyone must register for a pool time through Eventbrite and print off the ticket(s) for your reservation.
    • Anyone entering the facility must have executed the Liability Waiver Form (click link to access the form) provided by KCSA prior to entering the facility.  Submit the form electronically to or place in the drop box outside the KCSA office door.
  • Rules
    • You must have your KCSA pool card and your reservation ticket.  There will be no exceptions to this policy.  The lifeguards have been instructed that they must enforce this policy.
    • Each person will be asked to answer health questions.
    • Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the pool area.
    • Follow all directional signs on the pool deck.
    • Because of the need to clean and sanitize after each swim session, only the family restroom will be open at Mounts Bay. Facilities will be open at Southall in the pool area.
    • Due to the sanitization requirements, no KCSA-provided chairs will be available on the pool deck.  Please maintain a ten-foot distance from all others, except those in your immediate household.
    • The pools are for resident use only; no guests will be allowed until further notice.
    • To comply with the Governor's limitations on the size of group gatherings, maximum occupancy limitations will apply.
Tennis & Pickleball Courts
We are happy to share the following details on the opening the KCSA Tennis and Pickleball Facilities. The Mounts Bay Tennis Courts and Southall Tennis and Pickleball Courts will be open daily beginning Saturday June 6 by reservation only. Please use the links below to complete the necessary wavier and to make your reservation. Please be prepared to adhere to the following rules and guidelines while utilizing the KCSA Tennis and Pickleball Facilities.

Rules - Help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We strongly request you follow all CDC guidelines and the Governor's orders regarding group gatherings and social distancing. 
Stay home if you are sick or do not feel well
Court must be reserved, and waiver signed through the reservation system provided by KCSA
One hour and 30 minutes playtime shall be established Use hand sanitizer stations when entering and exiting the courts
Bring your own water and towels
Tennis courts shall be used for singles play only. Doubles play will only be permitted if the doubles team is residing in the same household
Use social distancing and maintain at least six foot between individuals
There are no bathroom facilities available
There is no access to any area to store residents' belongings and the resident by use of the tennis court acknowledges and agrees that KCSA is not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of any belongings brought into the tennis court area
Do not share equipment and only bring necessary equipment to the courts
Cover coughs and sneezes with your elbow. If excessive coughing or sneezing, please exit the pickleball/tennis facilities
Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
